Isi Esquenazi, MD
Dr. Isi Esquenazi earned his undergraduate degree through the University of Florida Honors Program and his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He completed a medical internship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami and his ophthalmology residency at Baylor College of Medicine, then a fellowship in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai.
His clinical interests include premium laser cataract surgery, refractive surgery (LASIK), refractive lens exchange, and advanced dry eye treatments. He serves on the Medical Advisory Committee for the Florida Lions Eye Bank at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.
Dr. Esquenazi serves as Medical Director of the Dry Eye Center at Airala, treating refractory dry eye with advanced techniques including IPL and thermal treatments such as ThermalOne Touch and TearCare.
Dr. Esquenazi has published several peer-reviewed manuscripts and, as a resident at Baylor, received the Goar Award twice for excellence in research. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the American Medical Association.
Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Danielle, and their three children, along with traveling, trying new restaurants, golf, and following sports.
