Karina Esquenazi MD

Dr. Karina Esquenazi received her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and her Doctorate in Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine, where she was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha honors society.

She served her medical internship at Lincoln Hospital in New York City and completed her ophthalmology residency at Mount Sinai Hospital where she was elected as chief resident. She completed her fellowship in glaucoma at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, which is ranked as the #1 eye hospital in the country.

Her clinical interests include premium laser cataract surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), traditional glaucoma surgery, and general ophthalmology. Dr. Esquenazi is passionate about providing high-quality care to her glaucoma patients.

Dr. Esquenazi enjoys spending time with her husband, Nathan and her great dane, Luna. She enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her family and friends.
